Periodically throughout the year we may
have a dog that is available for a new career.
These dogs may only be available 3-4 times a year. The
Assistance Dog Institute prefers to place these dogs
with local families. At the time a dog is being released,
we will post that information here. We only accept requests
for release dog applications when we have a dog available.
If you are interested in adopting a release dog, please
watch our website for that information.
The process involves filling out an application, having
an interview and often a site visit to your home is
done. There is a fee for a release dog to cover a portion of our investment in the dog. The dogs are
generally 1-2 years old, have been spayed or neutered
and are current on all vaccinations. |
