Teaming with a Social/Therapy dog to visit schools, hospitals and nursing homes can be very rewarding. Our Social/Therapy Team Training provides people and their dogs with the skills need to be successful.

If you're interested in doing Social/Therapy work and are looking for a dog with a suitable temperament and skills, please contact the Institute. From time to time we may have dogs that match your interests. The process involves filling out an application, having an interview and attending a five-day Social/Therapy class. You may also attend the first week of client team training at no charge. Often a site visit to your home is done. The cost of a Social/Therapy dog is $750. plus $250. tuition for attending the five-day Social Therapy class. The dogs are generally 1-2 years old, have been spayed or neutered and are current on all vaccinations.
